This was a response that I wrote to my Subscriber, Mike, on the 16th of April. It gives you a behind-the-scenes glimpse of where I was, one week into trying to get clear on my content creation journey.
(The hard work and challenges continued for two weeks after this!)
Message to Mike
Finally, things are settling down. I could not stop analysing or working! From the outside looking in, my plans for my content creation will look and sound so "simple" but a lot of blood, sweat and tears were put into getting to that point of clarity!! Not just over the past week, but over years of trial and error.
I have changed things around multiple times, and last week could be described as another big wave of chiselling away and refining until I finally "figured it out". It's a fun, puzzling experience, one that I can't stop until I have solved it!
I don't recommend it, it's not healthy to lay awake all night and not eat much. Yesterday I was going to have an early night but as I was laying in bed, analysing the finer details, I had to get back on the PC and fine-tune my Substack (which I already spent all day and night on!) even further. I'm finally happy with it!
I slept at around 3.30 - 4.30 am (not as late or early as the night before!) and I woke up a few times in the morning but kept on snoozing until 1.30 pm!
I am feeling alive today, thanks, Mike! My human self is a bit tired and mentally overworked, but I also have this sense of aliveness running through my veins! That is what is driving me to get clear and find the answer as soon as I can.
This sense of urgency doesn't always come. It's temporary, which is good. I have the foundations in place, and I feel like I now have a clear guide for which way to move forward on this solopreneur journey. I was on it, but I was walking without a map and was purely working by intuition to help me guide my way.
I'm excited to continue to share the journey with you all!
The road will be clearer now. But still, I am guided largely by my intuition and higher self. I have a plan, but there's still room to move freely.
